BassOrder
BassOrder is a Windows desktop app (Mac coming soon) that turns messy Spotify likes / playlists and dumped local folders into Rock, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Electro, Pop, Metal… — you tweak the plan, then copy or move.
Also as .exe · macOS via releases · patch notes · source code
What it's for
Clear goal: take a chaotic Spotify playlist (or a dumped folder of files) and sort it by music genres — not a social network, not a player. BassOrder detects / suggests the genre, you confirm, then the app organizes.
One space on your machine (handle + color). No Netflix-style multi-profiles.
Import your likes / artists. BassOrder builds a genre dictionary for more accurate sorting later.
Genre suggestions → corrections → copy or move into genre folders.
Knowledge sync (mirror + pool). Your audio files stay on your PC.

The real BassOrder flow: pick a folder → read the files → folder plan by genre. Nothing is written to disk until you confirm in the app.
Just like in the app: point to a music folder, BassOrder reads the tags and suggests a plan across Rock, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Pop, Metal, Soul and more…
Disk scan
Nothing is written to disk — we only read metadata.

Brand
That's the whole point of BassOrder: turn the mess into a genre-sorted library (Spotify + local), with history, dictionary, and optional knowledge sync. One user, one clear flow — Spotify first, files always within reach.
